# Airbyte Connector Builder & Declarative Sync

Designs Airbyte custom connectors: configuring authentication (API Key, OAuth2, Bearer), pagination strategies (offset, cursor, link header), stream slicing, incremental syncing, and record transformations.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- build airbyte connector
- configure airbyte pagination
- incremental sync airbyte

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Define streams in Airbyte Connector Builder with Request Options and URL path.
2. Configure Paginator: select CursorPagination or OffsetIncrement depending on API capabilities.
3. Set Incremental Sync mode with datetime cursor field and format string (e.g. %Y-%m-%dT%H:%M:%SZ).
4. Test connector against live API sandbox to verify record extraction and rate-limit handling.

## Verification Checklist
- Run local linting, syntax validation, and type-checks before reporting completion.
- Ensure all created or modified files adhere to workspace boundaries and avoid uncommitted secrets.
- Verify tests or build commands exit cleanly with return code 0.
