# AWS API Gateway HTTP API (v2) & JWT Authorizers

Configures AWS API Gateway v2 (HTTP APIs): creating routes ($default, /api/{proxy+}), integrating Lambda and private VPC link backends, configuring JWT authorizers (Auth0, Cognito), and enabling CORS.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- create api gateway v2 http api
- configure jwt authorizer api gateway
- setup api gateway vpc link

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Create API: aws apigatewayv2 create-api --name my-api --protocol-type HTTP.
2. Configure JWT authorizer specifying IdentitySource: ['$request.header.Authorization'] and Issuer URL.
3. Attach routes with AuthorizationType: JWT and AuthorizerId.
4. Configure CORS policy directly on the HTTP API to handle browser OPTIONS preflight requests.

## Verification Checklist
- Run local linting, syntax validation, and type-checks before reporting completion.
- Ensure all created or modified files adhere to workspace boundaries and avoid uncommitted secrets.
- Verify tests or build commands exit cleanly with return code 0.
