# Biome Toolchain Fast Rust-Based Linter and Formatter

Configures Biome (successor to Rome): authoring biome.json, configuring formatting rules (indentStyle, lineWidth), linter rules (recommended, suspicious, style), and running biome check --write.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- configure biome.json
- run biome check write
- replace prettier eslint biome

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Initialize: npx @biomejs/biome init to generate clean biome.json configuration file.
2. Configure rules: 'linter': { 'enabled': true, 'rules': { 'recommended': true } }.
3. Run check and format: npx @biomejs/biome check --write src/.
4. Integrate into VS Code via the official Biome extension for instantaneous format-on-save.

## Verification Checklist
- Run local linting, syntax validation, and type-checks before reporting completion.
- Ensure all created or modified files adhere to workspace boundaries and avoid uncommitted secrets.
- Verify tests or build commands exit cleanly with return code 0.
