# Chainguard Wolfi Zero-CVE Secure Container Images

Develops container images using Wolfi OS and Chainguard Images: leveraging modern apk packages with glibc support, automated daily CVE remediation patches, minimal SBOM attestations, and non-root defaults.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- use wolfi base image
- build zero cve container
- chainguard image migration

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Set base image: FROM cgr.dev/chainguard/wolfi-base.
2. Install packages: RUN apk update && apk add --no-cache python-3.12 py3-pip.
3. Verify application runs under non-root user (USER nonroot) by default.
4. Scan image with Cosign and Trivy to verify cryptographic signature and zero open vulnerabilities.

## Verification Checklist
- Run local linting, syntax validation, and type-checks before reporting completion.
- Ensure all created or modified files adhere to workspace boundaries and avoid uncommitted secrets.
- Verify tests or build commands exit cleanly with return code 0.
