# Flux CD GitOps Controller & HelmRelease Declarations

Operates Flux CD v2: configuring GitRepository and HelmRepository sources, Kustomization reconcilers, HelmRelease declarations with automated value overrides, image update automation, and webhook notifications.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- bootstrap flux v2 github
- create flux helmrelease
- configure flux kustomization

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Bootstrap cluster: flux bootstrap github --owner=org --repository=fleet-infra --path=clusters/prod.
2. Declare source: apiVersion: source.toolkit.fluxcd.io/v1, kind: HelmRepository.
3. Define HelmRelease: apiVersion: helm.toolkit.fluxcd.io/v2, kind: HelmRelease with chart and interval.
4. Check reconciliation health: flux get helmreleases and flux logs --level=error.

## Verification Checklist
- Run local linting, syntax validation, and type-checks before reporting completion.
- Ensure all created or modified files adhere to workspace boundaries and avoid uncommitted secrets.
- Verify tests or build commands exit cleanly with return code 0.
