# KEDA Event-Driven Autoscaling for Queues & Cron

Configures KEDA (Kubernetes Event-driven Autoscaling): creating ScaledObject and ScaledJob resources, connecting scalers (Kafka, Redis, RabbitMQ, AWS SQS), scale-to-zero semantics, and cooldown periods.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- create keda scaledobject
- scale k8s to zero rabbitmq keda
- scale on sqs queue keda

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Deploy KEDA via Helm: helm install keda kedacore/keda.
2. Create TriggerAuthentication storing external cloud credentials securely.
3. Define ScaledObject: set minReplicaCount: 0, maxReplicaCount: 100, and triggers: [{ type: 'aws-sqs', ... }].
4. Check active scaling status: kubectl get scaledobjects and watch target HPA adjustments.

## Verification Checklist
- Run local linting, syntax validation, and type-checks before reporting completion.
- Ensure all created or modified files adhere to workspace boundaries and avoid uncommitted secrets.
- Verify tests or build commands exit cleanly with return code 0.
