# Linkerd Lightweight Service Mesh & Golden Signals

Deploys Linkerd 2: injecting ultra-fast Rust micro-proxies, automatic zero-config mTLS, tracking Golden Signals (success rate, RPS, latency percentiles), traffic split CRD, and visualizing mesh via Linkerd Viz dashboard.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- install linkerd service mesh
- inject linkerd proxy
- monitor linkerd golden signals

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Check cluster prerequisites: linkerd check --pre.
2. Install control plane: linkerd install | kubectl apply -f - followed by linkerd check.
3. Annotate namespace for sidecar injection: metadata.annotations: { 'linkerd.io/inject': 'enabled' }.
4. Open Linkerd Viz dashboard: linkerd viz dashboard to inspect live traffic graphs.

## Verification Checklist
- Run local linting, syntax validation, and type-checks before reporting completion.
- Ensure all created or modified files adhere to workspace boundaries and avoid uncommitted secrets.
- Verify tests or build commands exit cleanly with return code 0.
