# LocalStack Local AWS Cloud Emulator for Development

Runs LocalStack: mocking AWS services (S3, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, Lambda, SecretsManager), routing AWS CLI and Terraform to localhost:4566, executing integration tests without incurring AWS bills.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- start localstack docker
- configure terraform for localstack
- test aws lambda locally

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Launch container: docker run -d -p 4566:4566 localstack/localstack.
2. Configure AWS CLI alias: awslocal s3 mb s3://my-test-bucket.
3. Override Terraform endpoints in provider 'aws' { endpoints { s3 = 'http://localhost:4566' } }.
4. Run integration test suite against local mock endpoints without cloud network dependencies.

## Verification Checklist
- Run local linting, syntax validation, and type-checks before reporting completion.
- Ensure all created or modified files adhere to workspace boundaries and avoid uncommitted secrets.
- Verify tests or build commands exit cleanly with return code 0.
