# PDF/A Long-Term Archival Compliance

Enforces PDF/A-1b, PDF/A-2b, and PDF/A-3b compliance: font embedding, device-independent color spaces (ICC profiles), metadata XMP injection, and attachment of raw XML datasets.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- convert pdf to pdf-a archival

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Embed all document fonts fully; forbid non-embedded system font references.
2. Specify an output device-independent color profile using an embedded sRGB ICC profile.
3. Embed standardized XMP metadata conforming to ISO 19005 schemas.
4. Validate the generated file using the open-source VeraPDF CLI validator.

## Verification Checklist
