# Redpanda High-Throughput C++ Streaming Engine

Deploys and operates Redpanda: configuring Seastar thread-per-core architecture, tiered storage with cloud object stores (S3/GCS), schema registry, and managing topics via rpk CLI.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- deploy redpanda cluster
- configure redpanda tiered storage
- use rpk topic create

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Start Redpanda cluster ensuring hardware thread pinning and NVMe direct I/O.
2. Configure tiered storage: redpanda.cloud_storage_enabled: true and specify bucket credentials.
3. Create topic with rpk: rpk topic create transactions -p 12 -r 3.
4. Connect existing Kafka clients targeting port 9092 with zero code or configuration changes.

## Verification Checklist
- Run local linting, syntax validation, and type-checks before reporting completion.
- Ensure all created or modified files adhere to workspace boundaries and avoid uncommitted secrets.
- Verify tests or build commands exit cleanly with return code 0.
