# Renovate Bot Multi-Ecosystem Dependency Automation

Configures Renovate Bot: writing renovate.json, packageRules for grouping related dependencies, scheduling PRs to off-peak hours, lockfile maintenance, and configuring automerge for patch updates.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- configure renovate.json
- enable renovate automerge
- group dependencies renovate

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Create renovate.json extending 'config:recommended'.
2. Add packageRules with matchUpdateTypes: ['patch'], automerge: true.
3. Set schedule: ['before 9am on monday'] to limit PR frequency.
4. Validate configuration: npx --package renovate -c renovate-config-validator.

## Verification Checklist
- Run local linting, syntax validation, and type-checks before reporting completion.
- Ensure all created or modified files adhere to workspace boundaries and avoid uncommitted secrets.
