# ScyllaDB High-Throughput CQL Sharded NoSQL

Deploys ScyllaDB (Cassandra compatible): designing CQL partition keys for even cluster distribution, tuning replication factors, configuring TWCS (Time Window Compaction Strategy), and shard-aware drivers.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- design scylladb cql schema
- configure twcs compaction scylladb
- use shard-aware scylla driver

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Design table with proper partition keys: PRIMARY KEY ((device_id, date_bucket), event_timestamp).
2. Configure compaction = {'class': 'TimeWindowCompactionStrategy', 'compaction_window_unit': 'DAYS'}.
3. Use shard-aware Scylla drivers in Go/Rust/Node.js to establish direct connections to CPU core shards.
4. Monitor nodetool status and scylla-top to inspect per-core queue depths and IO saturation.

## Verification Checklist
- Run local linting, syntax validation, and type-checks before reporting completion.
- Ensure all created or modified files adhere to workspace boundaries and avoid uncommitted secrets.
- Verify tests or build commands exit cleanly with return code 0.
