# Snyk Open Source Dependency Vulnerability Monitor

Audits application manifests (package.json, requirements.txt, Cargo.lock) using Snyk CLI: discovering deep transitive CVEs, generating automated remediation PRs, and license compliance.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- run snyk test
- fix dependency vulnerability snyk
- monitor dependencies snyk

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Authenticate CLI with snyk auth or set SNYK_TOKEN in environment variables.
2. Execute snyk test --severity-threshold=high to audit current package dependencies.
3. Apply automated dependency version bumps using snyk wizard or snyk fix.
4. Register continuous monitoring on the Snyk dashboard using snyk monitor.

## Verification Checklist
- Run local linting, syntax validation, and type-checks before reporting completion.
- Ensure all created or modified files adhere to workspace boundaries and avoid uncommitted secrets.
- Verify tests or build commands exit cleanly with return code 0.
