# Valkey In-Memory Key-Value Datastore

Deploys Valkey (Linux Foundation fork of Redis): configuring memory policies, multi-threaded I/O, Lua scripts, pub/sub messaging, and drop-in compatibility with existing redis-py and ioredis client libraries.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- deploy valkey server
- configure valkey io threads
- migrate from redis to valkey

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Install Valkey binaries or use official valkey/valkey container images.
2. Configure maxmemory 16gb and maxmemory-policy allkeys-lru in valkey.conf.
3. Tune io-threads = 4 and io-threads-do-reads yes on high-throughput servers.
4. Verify operational metrics and commands executed via valkey-cli info stats.

## Verification Checklist
- Run local linting, syntax validation, and type-checks before reporting completion.
- Ensure all created or modified files adhere to workspace boundaries and avoid uncommitted secrets.
- Verify tests or build commands exit cleanly with return code 0.
