# VictoriaMetrics High-Throughput Time Series Storage

Deploys VictoriaMetrics: single-node vs cluster architecture (vmstorage, vminsert, vmselect), Prometheus remote_write target, MetricsQL analytical functions, and dropping storage costs on heavy metrics feeds.

## When to Invoke
Invoke this skill whenever you need to:
- deploy victoriametrics cluster
- configure prometheus remote_write victoriametrics
- metricsql functions

## Execution SOP & Rules
1. Deploy VictoriaMetrics single binary or cluster components via official Helm charts.
2. Configure Prometheus prometheus.yml: remote_write: - url: http://victoria-metrics:8428/api/v1/write.
3. Point Grafana Prometheus data source directly to VictoriaMetrics port 8428.
4. Inspect ingestion performance and disk compression ratios via VM internal dashboard.

## Verification Checklist
- Run local linting, syntax validation, and type-checks before reporting completion.
- Ensure all created or modified files adhere to workspace boundaries and avoid uncommitted secrets.
- Verify tests or build commands exit cleanly with return code 0.
